“Beating” the Internet is often seen as a price game. It creates a seemingly endless cascade of one shopper after another. Sometimes, price is an important factor, but competing on price alone does not create a solid foundation for beating the net.
In fact, this approach can create a downward spiral of diminishing returns. A more effective long-term strategy is to “beat” the Internet at a game it cannot play: service and advice.
In this module we will take the methods learned in the Sales Consulting modules and apply them specifically to dealing with price shoppers and web surfers. You learn scripts and techniques for handling objections and effective ways to prevent losing future sales to the websites.
