LIVE & VIRTUAL EVENT – MAST Members Dedicated Workshop Featuring: Avanti Destinations
Avanti Destinations has partnered with MAST to offer you the opportunity to participate in a special MAST members-only dedicated training workshop. The MASTer Advisor Program was simply designed for the agencies that want more: to become more educated about a certain supplier, opportunities to learn more to assist you on your way to becoming a travel specialist, learn about more perks to offer your clients, and gain more benefits for yourself and your agency.
This year we have turned the MASTer Advisor Program, as you know it, into a live, 1-day workshop with a virtual component, called M.A.P. Live. Travel Advisors will have the opportunity to complete the program all in one day with hands on assistance!
Members further away can register for the Virtual Event! The Virtual Event will be conducted via Facebook Live. Attendees must have a Personal Facebook Profile in order to participate virtually. Virtual Event will run 9:00am – 12:00pm CST. You must be logged in and viewing the video the entire 3 hours in order to receive credit.
Agenda:
8:30am – 9:00am CST – Breakfast & Registration for Live / In-Person Attendees
9:00am – 12:00pm CST – Live & Virtual Training (Destination and Product Overview, What’s New, Review of Updated T&Cs and Policies, Website Navigation)
12:00pm – 12:45pm CST – Virtual Attendees Sign Off / Lunch for Live / In-Person Attendees
1:00pm – 4:00pm CST – Destination and Product Overview continued / Marketing Workshop with hands-on assistance for Live Attendees
Preparing for the Workshop (EVERYTHING YOU NEED):
- Live / In-Person Attendees, PLEASE BRING A LAPTOP COMPUTER TO THE WORKSHOP! A computer will be required for participation in the hands-on marketing workshop
- Virtual Attendees must have a Personal Facebook Profile and be a member of the “MAST Travel Advisors Only Group” (CLICK HERE TO REQUEST TO JOIN THE GROUP)
- Bring with you 10 client names and email addresses to be able to complete Step 3, emailing the e-Brochure.
- Write down your www.mvptravel.com login and bring it with you.
- Must pre-register with Avanti’s Agent Portal! Write down your login and bring it with you (CLICK HERE TO ACCESS AGENT PORTAL) If you do not remember your login, you can request a password reset on the login page of the portal.
What You Will Earn:
- Earn ONE Point in 2019 MAST Rewards for your agency
- Receive a supplier or destination Specialist Designation badge on your mvptravel.com Agency Profile
- Receive hands-on social media marketing assistance and materials
- Earn an Invitation to an Avanti Destinations FAM Trip by completing the Bonus Incentive (Booking Initiative)
- In-Person Attendees will be entered into a $100 Gift Card Drawing
PROGRAM CRITERIA (6 STEPS):

STEP 1: Attend the Lesson
9:00am – 4:00pm for Live / In-Person Attendees at NIU Campus in Hoffman Estates, IL
9:00am – 12:00pm for Virtual Attendees via “MAST Travel Advisors Only” Facebook Group
STEP 2: Make at least two (2) Social Media Posts
Right click and save the image, upload your image to your post, then copy and paste the text into your post. You must “tag” Avanti somewhere in your post by including “@AvantiDestinations”. There are 4 posts offered below, feel free to share as many as you would like or create your own.
