We recently arranged a last minute trip to Machu Picchu via the Inca Trail, for two of our more adventurous clients. They described the experience as “life changing”. One of the two clients booked was over twice the age of the other travelers, but he kept up with the group easily and was made the unofficial “captain” of the tour. It was also arranged that the group was given special access to an area that isn’t generally visited by most of the arrivals. This provided some of the best views of the citadel, and made it the absolute highlight of the trip.
We had a couple travel through us to the Riviera Maya this past fall. I had recommended a particular property in Playacar, as I knew it would be a good base from which to explore the area. The clients were looking to experience some the ecological sites in the Riviera Maya, and I recommended visiting El Jardin del Eden, the Garden of Eden cenote. It’s one of my favorite above ground cenotes in the entire region. When the clients returned, they told me over and over how much they loved my recommendation, and they’ve booked another trip for next year.
