A new client found us through Google. She already had her flights purchased, and her travel arrangements made to walk El Camino in Spain. She did however have a week of free time before the El Camino, and a few days after to fill. She did not know where she wanted to go, or how she could get there- the only thing she knew was that she wants an off the beaten path custom experience that seamlessly integrates into the already made travel plans. She came to us only 2 weeks prior to departure- in a post Covid time when availability was low, demand was high, and turn-around times were very lengthy. We did not want to promise something we couldn’t fully deliver, and asked to give us a few hours before we got back to her. In those few hours we researched the Spanish rail system, and any interesting destination that we could take her too, making sure she gets transportation to where she needs to be for her pilgrimage walk. When we called her back with a proposed plan, we could tell she had already lost hope to even hear back from us. She went on her trip, and this is what she sent us when she returned:“The trip you planned for us was wonderful! The cities were really interesting, and small enough that we could easily explore. The hotels you chose for us were also really nice! They were top quality. The train vouchers were great. We were fortunate to have them, as the lines at the ticket counters were very long, and the trains were pretty full. I was impressed with their train system! As for your service, I can only say excellent. I have nothing for you in regard to improvement. You can’t improve on perfection! We will definitely use you again!!” This client is only one example of requests we get every day.
